Eight properties changed hands in Hawley between Sept. 4 and Oct. 3, but only one sale, 26 East Road at $99,500 on Sept. 15, had a recorded price by this report, setting both the range and median at that figure. The remaining seven deeds, including a cluster of three on Middle Road, had not yet posted prices, a normal lag in registry data rather than withheld information. Two sellers were financial institutions and two sales involved trusts, including one within-family transfer on Middle Road. With pricing for most of the month still outstanding, the overall market tone is not yet clear from the available data.
